As a Legal Practice and Procedures Tutor, you’ll play a vital role in shaping learners’ understanding of the Irish legal system. You’ll facilitate meaningful discussions, support learners with assessments, and ensure content delivery meets QQI quality standards.

The Role: Legal Practice and Procedures Tutor
◉ Deliver QQI Level 5 Legal Practice and Procedures sessions in a blended format
◉ Guide learners through legal theory, case study discussions, and practical assessments
◉ Assess learner submissions in line with QQI criteria and provide developmental feedback
◉ Work collaboratively to refine and enhance course content and assessment strategies
◉ Maintain accurate training records including attendance, assessment, and learner progress
Requirements
◉ Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Law, Legal Studies, or a related discipline
◉ Qualification in Training and Development
◉ Teaching experience in Further Education
◉ Minimum of 2 years’ professional legal experience
◉ Familiarity with QQI course structure, standards, and assessment protocols
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
◉ Strong understanding of Irish legal systems, courts, legislation, torts, and procedures
◉ Sound knowledge of adult learning principles and modern training methodologies
◉ Excellent communication and presentation skills
◉ Confident using eLearning platforms, LMS systems, and Microsoft Office
◉ Flexible and able to adapt teaching styles to varied learner needs
◉ Organised, deadline-focused, and committed to learner success
