We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to build a career in our long-established, fast-growing, multi-national organisation. Reporting directly to the Managing Director this Financial Accountant position is responsible for the finance function of the company. In response to steady growth, we anticipate a payroll of 65 in Ireland in 2020.

Candidate Specification
The minimum requirements for the position are as follows:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience
- Multinational experience an advantage
- Excellent technical accounting/auditing background
- Strong people management skills
- Proven analytical skills with an ability to work within strict deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Driven, enthusiastic, proactive individual
Job Description
In this central role the key areas of responsibility will include:
- Preparation of quarterly consolidated accounts
- Year-end accounts and audits for associated companies
- Input into preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation and submission of monthly PAYE/PRSI returns
- Supervision of payroll and monthly reconciliation of same
- Managing the controls and approvals around supplier engagements and approvals of bi-monthly AP supplier pay run and staff expenses
- Maintain internal controls in line with Group policies and best accounting practice
- Corporation Tax Returns for company
- Company Secretarial Returns
- Treasury management of the company, monitoring the cash position on a monthly/weekly basis as necessary
- Central Statistic Office returns
- Attendance at monthly management meetings
- Arranging company Insurance policies
- Administration on behalf of the company of DB and DC Pension Schemes
Salary and Benefits
- €60,000 to €70,000 per year (dependent on experience)
