This Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course is designed to help you to optimise processes, reduce costs, and improve quality. Our 4-day Green Belt training course is recommended for anyone working in or hoping to move into a lean environment.
The certification is nationally and internationally recognised and is well regarded within industry, with prospective employers and with recruitment agencies.
How is the Course Delivered?
Our Lean training courses have been designed to help learners enhance and build on their existing skills, boosting performance and productivity. Our approach to training is hands-on and participatory. We know from experience that people remember when the content is engaging. This includes exercises, role plays and case studies.

Lean Games We Use During the Training
During the training, we will help improve your lean techniques with some brilliant games. People are so much more willing to challenge working practices in a simulated environment and are quick to identify waste in the system. This provides ideal foundations for starting to challenge and find opportunities in their own areas of work. "Shine the Light" is a big hit in the classroom.
Lean Six Sigma is Not Just for Manufacturing
Lean is not just for manufacturing. Many companies have excelled at reducing waste in their production processes yet their offices are filled with inefficiencies.
The inefficiencies in the Lean office are the next big areas of opportunity. Lean in a service environment is catching on as a key productivity factor to streamline and eliminate waste from administrative processes and to achieve bottom-line savings. It makes sense, considering that 60% – 80% of all costs related to meeting customer demand are administrative or non-production related functions.
Do You Need Experience to Attend the Course?
No previous experience is necessary. All you need to bring is an interest in learning Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
In DCM, we run the QQI Certified Lean Green Belt. There are no educational requirements for this course. There are no pre-requisite careers to studying or applying Six Sigma techniques. Some certification organisations require the formal application of techniques on real-world projects, but no certification requires a practitioner to be in a certain field.
