Although Lean is based on data-driven decisions every attendee is presumed to have none or very little statistical or data background. However, that being said there are elements of the course which require learners to work with quantitative data. This element of the course is stripped back and simplified into, different sources of data, different types of data and how to effectively report data and statistical information for analysis purposes.
So some level of data and statistics is beneficial to the learner, but, that being said DCM Trainers are on-hand to provide support and guidance where needed and will also provide feedback and advice on your statistical abilities.
