What's The Best Course For My Experience Level?

There are several certifications you can explore, but depending on your experience level, you may find that not all of these courses are suitable. Below, we have outlined a couple of different courses that suit different levels of experience.
QQI Project Management Course
Our QQI Project Management course is hugely inclusive. There are no entry requirements to attend the course and if you are brand new to Project Management, or have some working experience, this is the ideal course for you.
It is recommended you have a leaving certificate or equivalent work experience, in order to better your ability to understand the theory and practice taught.
Attendees come from a wide range of industry background and age groups and cultures.

Project Management Professional (PMP)®
Project Management Professional (PMP)® is the most suitable Project Management certification for anyone with 7 years or over experience in Project Management.
This credential is designed for experienced project managers looking for recognition of their competence to deliver projects and is one of the industry's most respected and in-demand certifications.
This course is very practical and interactive. All the core Project Management skills are covered including planning, managing and closing projects; risk management; resource and scope planning; quality control; leadership techniques.
By the end of the course each learner will be able to:
- Be able to apply project management processes
- Know how to develop a project management plan
- Develop project schedules, cost estimates and budgets
- Identify Project Risks and Triggers & Develop a Risk Response Plan
- Have the knowledge of a procurement document
- Monitor and control project work
- Have control over costing and pricing schedules
- Learn the best way to close a project
However, as the certification sits at such a high level and is so highly regarded, there are a number of prerequisites that you must meet in order to attempt the exam:
- A four-year degree
- Three years leading projects
- 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification
or
- A high school diploma or an associate’s degree (or global equivalent)
- Five years leading projects
- 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification
