Appeals or Assessment Resubmission
If you feel that the marks awarded at the end of the assessment process do not accurately reflect the quality of your work, you have the right to appeal.
Alternatively, if you feel that your grade could improve with a second (or subsequent) attempt you may request the opportunity to amend your assignments and resubmit them for marking.
All appeals and resubmission requests must be recorded using our Appeals/Resubmission Request Form.

At this point, you will have the choice to submit a "Full Appeal" or "Assessment Resubmission". Please review the following to explain:
-
Full Appeal - If you request a full appeal we will arrange for an independent assessor to review and re-mark all of your assignments again. This means that your final grade may increase or decrease.
Please Note: There is a fee of €90 for this option which is payable before your appeal can be processed. If your appeal is successful you will receive a full refund. -
Assessment Resubmission - If you feel that your grade could improve with a second (or subsequent) attempt you may request the opportunity to amend your assignments and resubmit them for marking.
Please Note: There is a fee of €90 for this option which is payable before your amended assessments can be accepted for regrading.
Step 6. Grounds for Appeal (Full Appeal Only)
If you have selected a full appeal you will need to outline the reasons for which you are requesting the appeal. Before completing the form you should review your feedback, review your assessments and prepare a coherent academic argument as to why you feel the grade awarded was incorrect. Your argument must be specific to the parts of the assessment which you believe are marked incorrectly.
Step 7. Fee Confirmation
You will now need to confirm that you understand there is a €90 fee to process your appeal / assessment resubmission.
Step 8. Confirmation
