Below is a list of the seven steps that you should take when you are preparing your assignment and skills demonstration for the QQI Level 5 Medical Secretary Course.
1. Download and Read the Assignment Brief

2. Watch the Assignment One: Assignment Video
This video is just under 8 minutes and covers all aspects of how to complete your first assignment.
3. Download and Use the Assignment One: Assignment Template
You should use this MS Word template when you are completing your assignment to ensure it is structured correctly and that you have completed all the required tasks. You can download the template by clicking on the image below and then saving the template to your local machine.
4. Watch the Assessment Two: Skills Demonstration Video
This video is 9 minutes and covers all aspects of how to complete your second assignment - your skills demonstration.
5. Download and Use Assignment Two: Skills Demonstration Template
You should use this MS Word template when you are completing your skills demonstration to ensure it is structured correctly and that you have completed all the required tasks. You can download the template by clicking on the image below and then saving the template to your local machine.
6. Download your Recorded Dictations
For task four of your skills demonstration, you will need to listen to these recorded dictations and prepare the appropriate medical reports for each. You can download each dictation by clicking on the image below and then saving the file to your local machine.
7. Watch the How to Format a Dictation Report Video
