The timing of this course was perfect for me. It allowed me to upgrade my CV during Covid 19 lockdown from the comfort of my own home. I didn't have to worry about travelling, traffic or childcare.

Any advice you would give to new students?
Anyone interested in progressing in the area of Lean Six Sigma should absolutely checkout the Green Belt Course provided by DCM. If you have previous knowledge in this area DCM also provides a Green Belt course which is the course I thoroughly enjoyed. While the courses are interactive, there is no pressure to visually get involved, the platform allows interaction to be via the Chat and Q&A functions. Don't be afraid to dive in and get learning!!
Since completing the course, what have you done or how has your career progressed?
The beauty of Lean Six Sigma is that its principles can not only just be applied in the work environment but also in everyday life, whether it be at home or volunteering in an organisation. Understanding how a process works, focussing on how to improve the flow in an beneficial way, and enjoy the time saved by reducing the waste in the process is a technique that can be applied to everyday life.
