Why did you choose to do this course?
I realised that I should use the pandemic to upskill myself. The company that I work for is facing numerous challenges, therefore needed a new approach to improve our operations and the Green Belt Lean Six Sigma course seemed the perfect fit for my goals.
Why choose DCM?
I choose DCM first because I could do the course on my on pace. I also asked for some advice from a friend that is a Black Belt and she told me the course material seemed good, especially because I had to do a real project which allowed me to put into practice what I had learned during the course.
How did you find the course?
I found the content very clear and relevant to my workplace. The instructor was very helpful during the Q&A sections which I believe was crucial for my end of course project to be successful.
Any advice you would give to new students?
Lean Six Sigma principles can be applied in any business and even to your personal life. If your objective is to improve productivity, reduce costs and waste you should definitely take this course.
Since completing the course, what have you done or how has your career progressed?
I presented my project to my CEO and directors, who were interested in how Lean six sigma principles could be applied to improve our operations not just to our studio but to the entire company. They are planning to start a major project to introduce the Lean techniques to the business and I am very pleased to say that I was invited to be part of this project.
