Why did you choose to do this course?
I was unemployed following redundancy and found that while applying for new roles, if I could tell them I was upskilling they seemed more interested. I also wanted to back up my people management skills with a recognised qualification.
Why choose DCM?
The price point was fair and the team were really good at answering my questions and sending me over information. Being able to do the course online was a big benefit to me as I had to work around preparing for interviews etc too
How did you find the course?
I really enjoyed it, it was great to work at my own pace, and the structure was well laid out. I have been managing people for years and it was interesting to learn more, and I definitely feel better equipped to manage people again. In all honesty, I wish I had done it ages ago.
Any advice you would give to new students?
Don't be nervous about the course being online, there is plenty of support and I think with DCM you can trust they will guide you in the right direction.
Since completing the course, what have you done or how has your career progressed?
I have since been employed as a Business Operations Manager at HPL Engineering, I now manage over 80 skilled workers from home and without the course, I would have been very hesitant to apply in the first place let alone be offered the position.
