Can we do our skills demos on the same topic?
There are times when two or three people from the same industry or area will be on the same course together and you may be wondering how this will affect the subject of your skills demonstration. If the course is taking place within an organisation, then potentially there could be multiple people that will be responsible for delivering very similar training sessions and as such, may fear that their skills demonstration topic will overlap with their colleagues’.
If this is the case, there is absolutely nothing to worry about. Our learners are not competing with one another for the best result in the skills demonstration. Every individual is simply demonstrating their ability to design and deliver short, focused training sessions that teach people something they didn’t know before.
If at all possible, we do recommend trying to make the demonstration of your skills your own. Maybe there’s a particular subject or area of the business that is your area of expertise. There are infinite ways to make your skills demonstration your own and our DCM trainers are on hand to help.
