- Analysing the learning process & identifying training needs: figuring out the root cause for the training (why the training is necessary);
- Training Development: setting training objectives, writing SMART training objectives, understand all types of training and develop confidence using a variety of training methods
- Training Design & Delivery: The step by step approach to module design, writing effective opening and closing sessions, structuring your training course, creating lesson plans and using PowerPoint to impress your delegates
- Keeping control of the room: keeping audiences of all sizes engaged, how to deal with difficult delegates, presenting in a lively and professional manner, projecting confidence and enthusiasm and “survival” skills needed to succeed in training.
- Evaluation of Training: Kirkpatrick’s 4 levels of training, design your own evaluation forms, learn how to analyse the scope of an evaluation project, put together an evaluation plan, design evaluation mechanisms and learn how to gather evaluation data
