What are the career opportunities after completing the Train The Trainer course?

Does the QQI Train The Trainer certification qualify me to teach?
From experience, we find that completing a Train the Trainer course is a great jumping-off point for beginning your training career. It will give you all the knowledge and skills to effectively design and deliver your training courses, as well as ensuring that you feel confident in your ability.

You can work as a freelance trainer, designing and delivering your own training courses. You can also register with professional training providers to deliver courses on their behalf.

Does this certification allow me to register with the Teaching Council?
While the QQI Training Delivery & Evaluation certification used to be the minimum requirement to deliver training on behalf of the Teaching Council, this has recently changed.
Minimum entry requirements for programmes of initial teacher education are set by the Minister for Education and Skills, in consultation with the Teaching Council. You will find more specific information associated with different levels of teaching here.
